M&P COD Tracking: Cash on Delivery Guide for Online Buyers

A plain guide for online shoppers waiting for an M&P cash on delivery parcel: tracking, delivery day and paying the rider.

1. How Cash on Delivery (COD) Works With M&P

With cash on delivery (COD), you pay for your order in cash when it arrives, instead of paying in advance.

M&P delivers the parcel and also collects the cash for the seller:

Booking: The shop packs your order, books it with M&P and enters the amount you must pay.
On the way: The parcel travels through M&P hubs to the local centre near you.
Delivery: The rider delivers the parcel and collects the cash from you.
Seller payment: M&P then pays the money to the seller.

2. Tracking Your COD Parcel

To follow your order, get the tracking number from the seller. It may come by SMS, email or in your account on the shop’s website.

M&P says to enter at least 7 digits in the tracking box on mulphilog.com.

3. What Tracking Shows and What It Does Not

Tracking shows where the parcel is. Payments between M&P and the seller stay private:

What Tracking Shows

The current status, such as In Transit, Out for Delivery or Delivered.
The sending city and the delivery city.
The dates and times of scans.
Delivery tries and problem scans.

What Tracking Does Not Show

When the seller gets paid.
How M&P and the seller settle payments.
The seller’s account balance or fees.
The price of each item in your order.

Sellers see their payments in business portals such as CPLight. These details never appear in public tracking.

4. Delivery Day: Paying and Opening the Parcel

When tracking indicates Out for Delivery, the parcel is with a rider, who delivers during working hours (09:00 AM to 05:30 PM, Monday to Saturday).

Good to Know

Opening the parcel: We could not confirm M&P’s rule on opening a parcel before paying. Ask the shop before delivery.
The rider's job: The rider delivers the parcel and collects the cash. The rider cannot check whether the product is genuine or good quality.
Shop rules: Some shops may allow you to look inside before paying. Ask the shop what it allows.
Right amount: Having the right amount ready makes the handover quick.

5. What Happens if a Delivery Is Missed?

If you are not in when the rider comes, or the rider cannot find the address, tracking shows a problem scan (such as Consignee Not Available or Premises Closed).

Here is what usually happens next:

Back to the centre: The parcel goes back to the local M&P centre.
Next try: We could not confirm when M&P tries again. Call customer care to arrange another delivery.
Return to Shipper (RTO): If delivery keeps failing, or you refuse the parcel, it is sent back to the seller.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can someone else pay for and receive my COD parcel?

Yes. Someone you trust at the delivery address, such as a family member or colleague, can pay the cash and sign for you.

Can I give the parcel back to the rider if the item is wrong?

Once you have paid and signed, the delivery is complete. For a wrong item or a refund, contact the seller.

How is Retail COD different from Corporate COD?
